I try her program for approximately 4 months, and let me tell you the pounds just GO!!! This is one of the best conditioning workouts I have ever used. I took a break from the program. I started back today and let me tell you, IT KICKED MY TAIL! I quickly remembered how challenging her workouts can be. My heart rate was through the roof! The cool thing about Tracy's swing style is the nice soulful, rhythmic flow that I experience doing it. I think that is what helps me get through the workout. I feel like I am dancing at various speeds, sometimes easy, sometimes hard, fast and/or aggressive. The "Roundabout" combinations and "Speed" swings are my favorite. This smart lady decided on kettlebell training!! Liz plays for Mary Washington University in Virginia. She will be returning to school in a week better than ever for the season. Liz committed herself to four weeks of training and did an outstanding job! We focused on her learning the basic kettlebell exercise drills and learning good technique. During her training, the Swing and Turkish Get-up was heavily emphasized. These two drills are essential and will definitely make her a powerful and better player. As the weeks went by, she turned into a serious swinging and snatching queen. On Liz's last kettlebell session, she successfully double snatched two 16kg (35.4pds) kettlebells!!! Great job Liz! She accomplished her pistol with ease using a 24kg (52.3 pounds) Dragon Door kettlebell with me for the 1st time yesterday!! She is 4'11 and 1/2", weighs 105pds and is one of the strongest females I know. I have had the priviledge of knowing her for 4 years, and as well as working with her throughout the years. During this time, I've watched how hard she has worked to achieve her fitness goals as well as building a great physique by lifting heavier weights, such as squating 195pds, deadlifts at 225pd, pullups, swings, snatches, etc... Bottom line, she is not taking body pump or using that darn thigh machine to have the body or the strength she has. Besides being a "Strength Queen", she is a wonderful mother of 3 children!! I'm very proud of Erin and all her hard work she has done to achieve her personal and athletic goals. Keep rollin' Erin!! Go for your next goal of becoming Crossfit certified! You and your achievements are a true inspiration to all women! Later in the year she under went surgery for knee replacement. After completed her rehabilitation and she came back to me for training in '08. I have watch her prepare for her wedding, celebrate two anniveraries, and delievered her 1st beautiful baby boy, Nathaniel. She is a very dedicated to her training appointments. Despite all of life's challenges, she always adjust her schedule to have two training sessions per week. For the past two year, I've incorporate kettlebell training to her program. One day last year she came in and told me her big news that she's pregnant! Ailis receive the green light from her doctor to continue on kettlebell training, and I quickly contacted &lt;em&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Sarah Lurie&lt;/strong&gt;, &lt;strong&gt;RKC&lt;/strong&gt;, founder of &lt;strong&gt;Iron Core&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/em&gt; kettlebell studio in La Jolla, CA for specific guidelines on kettlebell training for pregnant women. Based of her recommendations, we continue kettlebell training until Ailis reached her 8 month. The cool thing about all of this is Ailis only gained 16 pounds during her pregnancy! She delivered healthy baby Nathaniel in late February '09. Ailis is back swinging and snatching the kettlebell and the 16 pounds of course is gone! Go Ailis!! While sitting down discussing with her what it really takes to reach her goals, she took out a pen and paper to take notes.
